The former stoke city attacker, Xherdan Shaqiri has made just six appearances for Liverpool in the premier league this season. With his only outing of 2020 which was in the 89th minute when he came in as a substitute against Tottenham in a 1-0 win in favor of Liverpool.

Shaqiri has played for Liverpool in 6 matches only and he scored his only goal in a match against Everton when Liverpool won 5-2 at Anfield. The 6 matches are enough to make Shaqiri get a medal as a premier league winner.

Shaqiri has been bothered by varieties of injuries this season but is still able to add the premier league success to his Bundesliga title he won in Bayern. He crushed two Bundesliga titles in 2013 and 2014 but former FC Sion coach, Arno Rossini has launched a scathing attack on the Liverpool striker in a national local media.

Arno Rossin Slams Xherdan Shaqiri

Arno Rossini said, “Xherdan is not a champion. We certainly cannot say he left marks with the team which he won with. “Not with the big guys at least. He was the protagonist in Basel, but not in Liverpool or Bayern. “let’s say that over the years he has often been in the game of his teams as a spectator sitting in the best places. And millions of players have also been paid for it.

This taking everything into account, make me feel like the swiss is not the who always give the best. If not as owner, at least one important role as a reserve from the choice of the bench. He would have managed to carve a place in his team out otherwise. Instead, he did nothing if not the crumbs for a disheartening situation.

Of course, Shaqiri is occupying the bulletin board and watching his bank account grow dramatically. I don’t know how many people will remember him thinking about the great teams in which he played.

Shaqiri who could be leaving Anfield this summer had 26 appearances in Bayern in his first Bundesliga title-winning and 17 times in the second season. But he was usually used as a substitute during that year. He has made 40 appearances for Liverpool since he arrived in Anfield from stoke city. However, he has scored 7 goals for liverpool in total.
