Duncan Castle talks about Ousmane Dembele transfer speculation
In a transfer window podcast, transfer expert Duncan Castle stated his belief that United could go for Dembele if they are unable to sign Jadon Sancho.
Castle said, “I am told that there have been contacts between United and Dembele’s agent. In that discussion, I am told Dembele’s agent asked for what was known as Mino Raiola’s money to make the deal happen.
“United are looking for a relatively cheap solution and to take advantage of Barcelona’s financial issues.
United have just signed only player this summer, Donny van de Beek. And fans are desperate for the club to complete another deal before the transfer market closes on October 5. However, a late decision is likely to happen, according to Sky Sports.
