Ousmane Dembele

Dembele has taken it as behavior not resuming training early, following his 2 hours late arrival in 2018. Barcelona’s new boss Ronald Koeman has demanded all his players to arrive at the training ground at least one hour before training commence. Dembele was once a reason why Barcelona put a rule in place when slept so badly and missed the club meeting and training session. Playing late-night video games and putting phones off or silent overnight was banned due to the action.

Manchester United have had links with Dembele during this summer window. And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eager to add another attacking player to his ranks before the transfer windows close. Barcelona began their league with a flying 4-0 win at home against Villareal. And Dembele came in as a substitute to replace Ansu Fati. But the club is hungry to sell some of their big earners.

He has also suffered many injury problems and Barcelona is having thought of letting him go in the near future.

Duncan Castle talks about Ousmane Dembele transfer speculation

In a transfer window podcast, transfer expert Duncan Castle stated his belief that United could go for Dembele if they are unable to sign Jadon Sancho.

Castle said, “I am told that there have been contacts between United and Dembele’s agent. In that discussion, I am told Dembele’s agent asked for what was known as Mino Raiola’s money to make the deal happen.

“United are looking for a relatively cheap solution and to take advantage of Barcelona’s financial issues.

United have just signed only player this summer, Donny van de Beek. And fans are desperate for the club to complete another deal before the transfer market closes on October 5. However, a late decision is likely to happen, according to Sky Sports.
