Nicklas Bendtner spent nine years at Arsenal but the footballer was not capable to ever hold down a regular place in Wenger’s side.

The striker says he has” tremendous respect” for Arsene Wenger despite admitting a different style of manager could’ve got more out of him.

Bendtner accepts responsibility for his past mistakes.

He said: ” I can honestly say that, apart from my son being born and spending time with him, nothing gives me greater pleasure than playing football.”

But his curiosity made it difficult.

Nevertheless,  He boasts an overall record of 30 goals in 81 international appearances for Denmark.
