Barcelona President, Josep Bartomeu, has reiterated that Lionel Messi won’t be leaving the Spanish giants anytime soon. The club president reacted to series of speculations suggesting that the Argentine forward could quit the club at the end of the season.

It is believed that the 33-year-old is currently frustrated with the club’s run of poor results. However, he has considered leaving the Camp Nou. Speaking after the huge win over Villarreal. Alaves sacks Manager Garitano five consecutive defeats

Real Madrid will be up against Deportivo Alaves at the Santiago Bernabeu on July 10. However, Alaves has announced the sack of Coach Asier Garitano after a run of five defeats in a row. The La Liga strugglers have named former Malaga & Levante coach Juan Muniz to replace Garitano.

Alaves’s defeat to Valladolid has left them just six points clear of the relegation zone. They are also left with four matches to play in the La Liga. Muniz has been without a club since 2019 after he was sacked by Malaga. He will be in charge until the end of the season & is yet to be confirmed if he will remain after the season.

Alaves are hoping to get decent results with difficult games ahead of them. They travel to the Bernabeu to face Real Madrid on Friday. This will be followed by a home fixture against Getafe, away to Betis & final home game against La Liga contenders Barcelona.
