Arsenal has made an offer for Houssem Aouar but the bid is nowhere close to his valuation, Lyon President Jean-Michel aulas said. Jean-Michel reported that the 22 years old has also agreed on a deal worth £32million. He also said he expects the young star to stay in the club due to an unforeseen future against Lorient on Sunday. And he should be part of the team for the rest of the season.

Houssem Aouar-arsenal

Aulas posted on Twitter on Saturday morning to set the story straight. It said, “At Lyon, there will be very few departures: for Houssem, Arsenal is much too far from his value: we count on him to make a big game in Lorient and lead OL in Champions League next year.

Lyon President has spoken about Arsenal on several occasions this month. He suggested that arsenal doesn’t have the financial capability to sign the young star.

He said, “Financially, Arsenal are like everyone else, and Houssem Aouar could say to himself that the best thing would be to stay with us.”

However, Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta is eager to sign an attacking midfielder and he has Aouar as his target. They have also been linked with Barcelona’s Philippe Coutinho and Athletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey.

Former Arsenal player Winterburn Nigel believes Partey will be worth more than Aouar in the middle. When the former left-back was talking to FreeSupertips he said. I really like Partey because he is solid, fast, and power of the ball as much as on it.

The summer transfer is still opened till October and arsenal has only completed few transfers. They have completed the signing of Chelsea’s forward William and Lille’s defender, Gabriel.

Arsenal set to face Liverpool after the season began with the clubs winning their first two matches. Arsenal has won Liverpool in two of their last match including the community shield. And the match on Monday will see the two teams fight for victory
