Lucy Bronze statement after signing for City

After her arrival, Bronze made statements. She said I am really happy to be here in City. I always had it in mind that I will come back to the club. And it feels like it is the perfect time and opportunity right now.

I really enjoyed my stay in France, but there were so many things I missed, and its great to be back. I believe I am returning as a better leader and person who is capable of bringing the same success to the table in England. Both domestically with City and internationally.

Having already experienced everything that City has to offer as a club, it was a no-brainer for me when the offer came in and there is no other team in England that I would have looked at.

There is no place I would rather be right now than with Manchester City and I am really happy to see what the future holds with the exciting club we have here.

Lucy Bronze made 70 appearances for England and scored eight goals. She was part of the lionesses runs to the semifinal of the 2015 and 2019 World Cup and euro 2017. In the tournament last year Bronze was awarded the silver ball. She was also named UEFA Women’s player of the year in 2019.
