“The world is facing one of its difficult time and it requires all of us to be very careful and attentive.

“Today I speak to you all not as a soccer player. But as a father, son and human being disturbed with the current developments that are disturbing the whole world.

“It is very important and necessary to adhere to the advice given to us by the WHO (World Health Organisation). On how we can handle and contain the current situation.

Protecting human life should be the major priority coming before any other thing. I would love to share my condolences to everyone who lost a close one in this situation. My solidarity to all those still fighting the coronavirus, like my Daniele Rugani my teammate. And my continued assistance to all amazing heath professionals risking their lives to save others.
