List of expensive transfers completed
Hwang Hee-Chan: forward
Red bull Salzburg to Leipzig, Price: €10 million
After Timo Werner moved to Chelsea, Leipzig added a replacement for the striker. He cant surpass Werner’s goals this season but he can step in as a hardworking player who can contribute to the score sheet. Hwang landed in the list of expensive transfers as he will fit into Leipzig playing pattern. this kind of transfer is unlikely to be a failure because Hwang is known to be a good contributor in the red bulls ranks.
Martin Terrier: Forward
Lyon to Stade Rennais €12 million (increasing to €15 million)
Terrier has the kind of superb moves that will make anyone move away from their seat, Even if he has not gotten a proper place in Les Gones first xi. When he gets into form and gets into consistent actions his standard is quite better than some of those Lyon wants to keep. Terrier could play through the left or as a support striker. He has got speed and some skills to wave his way through the defense. he could also make a nice setpiece and has great control of the ball.
Corinthians to Benfica, price: €20 million
Pedrinho was signed by Benfica in March for €20 million. He is a nicely rounded player. He has the ability to dribble and carry the ball but also lets loose from range and threading a pass. Pedrinho is quite fast but not very fast. He has good techniques shining brighter than his physical qualities.
Sao Paulo to Ajax, Price: €16 million (rising to €28.8 million)
Ajax found themselves in the market for a forward after Hakim Ziyech moved to Chelsea. Anthony is that player that is full of tricks. He attaches his skill at a rapid pace with his burst of speed that can help him run pass attackers.
Hakim Ziyech, Midfielder
Ajax to Chelsea, €40 million (rising to €44 million)
The blues have gotten a silky Playmaker, a smart dribbler, and a nice passer. Ziyech has been incredible for Ajax since when he joined the team. He is a super left-footer, whenever he handles the ball it calls for an attempt to a goal.
Achraf Hakimi: Wing-Back
Real Madrid to Inter Milan, Price: €40 million (rising to €45 million)
Hakimi Achraf will be going to inter under the reign of Antonio Conte. He could be called the new Maicon. Achraf is more of an attacker than the defender and he will fit in Antonio Conte’s team. He has the ability to move the ball towards the opposition post that could result in a goal. He will fit in inter with the good coaching presently.
Leroy Sane, Winger
Manchester City to Bayern Munich, €49 million (rising to €60 million)
Sane is well now in Guardiola’s team when he is in the full form he could be a game-changer. However, Sane was supposed to worth €100 million on the time but it was hindered due to the injury he suffered in August last year. Been in Bayern is a bonus for the German team.
Timo Werner, Forward
RB Leipzig to Chelsea, €60 million
Werner is also part of the expensive transfers this summer. He can easily perform either right or left-wing in England. When he was in Leipzig he played as a free role striker with his ability to use his two feet. He got the ability to score massive goals. In other words, Frank Lampard will use him in his favor.
Miralem Pjanic, Midfielder
Juventus to Barcelona, price: €60 million
Pjanic has been known as a top tier Midfielder, but he has shown a demo of declining, struggling to play with his team. At the age of 30, the Bosnian played in the first team for 13 consistent matches. his move to Barcelona will be good for the Bosnian as he will be playing alongside Messi and other Barca stars.
Barcelona to Juventus, €72 million
The highest on our list of expensive transfers is Arthur. Barca completed transfers with Juventus after they swapped the two players for the top two highest transfer recently.
Arthur has the ability to bypass midfield and move the ball clearly. The Brazilian has shown prowess in the possession and he is not a player that is easy to dispossess. Maurizio Sarri will be able to use him in his team to dominate his midfield.
