Dan Alves has admitted that he offered Barcelona another chance to re-sign him after his successful period at Juventus. But the Club didn’t have the mind to admit they were wrong to let him leave.
Meanwhile, Dani Alves is considered the best right-back in the game after more than stellar showing for Barcelona between 2008 and 2016.
Upon leaving Juventus at the of the season, the talented football player admits he gave Barcelona the choice to put their mistake behind them.
Alves believed Barcelona needed him, but they didn’t have the mind to accept that they were wrong to him.
However, Alves is back to his native Brazil playing what he loves to do which is football for his boyhood club, Sao Paulo.
Dan Alves Still a Football Player at Age 37
Dane Aves, was a professional winner at the Catalan club, helping the Blaugrana win 23 trophies in total.
When he left the club as a free agent in Barcelona in 2016, he later joined Juventus on a two-year deal.
He is not the first former or current Barca football player to criticize the club’s board
And believes it will take years for them to get back to where they were.
Dan Alves is A six-time La Liga and three-time UEFA Champions League winner. The 37-year-old has resumed himself as an attacking midfielder in the Brazilian League.
He is the latest in a long of players to hit out at the way Barcelona has been run at boardroom level in recent years.
Yet Dan is still playing strong at Sao Paulo to this day despite advancing well into the final stages of his career.
Apart from winning a total of 23 trophies, he also won six La Liga titles and including three Champions League crowns.
The last one was after a 3-1 final victory over Juventus in 2015.
In 391 games between 2008 and 2016, he has contributed 21 goals and 101 assists to Barca
And led the club to numerous honors.
Dani Alves is still a captain of the Brazilian national team at age of 37.
