Bayern Munich has agreed to pay the sum of £54.8m to Manchester city for Leroy Sane. The German-born is set to sign a deal that will last for five years in Bayern. Firstly, Bayern will pay an initial amount of £44.7m and a series of performance and trophy bonuses.
The adds on will lead to an estimate of £10m for trophies won such as The champions league and the Bundesliga. A bonus will also be added for the player due to personal awards. 10% will be given to Mancity if Bayern should sell Sane in the future. However, The German winger has always been linked with a move to back to his homeland which almost led to City giving up hopes of negotiating a new contract with the German boy.
Bayern set to pay the winger an estimate of £20m in a year. However, sane is set to travel to Bayern for Medical and if the paperwork for the transfer is set he won’t return to City.
Sane returned after he sustained a cruciate ligament knee injury in the community shield match against Liverpool. The match was in favor of Mancity and now he is set to enter the final year of his contract at the club. The deal sounds like a cool deal for manchester city after they signed him for £37m form Schalke-04 I 2016.
Leroy Sane Ready to Leave City, Pep Guardiola Admits
City coach, pep Guardiola admitted the German boy had intentions of leaving Man city and he refused to sign a new contract. His recent contract will expire at the end of next season. For some past months sane has looked forward to joining Bayern Munich and it has been confirmed he is leaving for a fee that worth less than €50 million.
Guardiola said the club is not looking further to signing another replacement for the winger. As there are many big players who can play on the left. The like of sterling, Foden, Mahrez, Gabriel Jesus, and others.
He added, Most of them are in good condition like Phil, Riyad Mahrez, Gabriel, Raheem. They can play regularly for a long period. they are also stale when it comes to the terms of injury. I think there are other priorities.
And I don’t know after the coronavirus pandemic. If the situation is changing economically and financially for the club. I have no idea what the situation is. We are going to see it at the end of this season.
