Barca President praises Setien, says he doesn’t regret sacking Valverde
Barcelona President, Josep Maria Bartomeu has thrown his weight behind current manager Quique Setien. The President insisted that he does not regret sacking Ernesto Valverde. Despite immense pressure on Setien after a run of three wins in five matches, leaving the La Liga champions one point behind Table-toppers Real Madrid. The 61-year-old was appointed as Valverde’s successor in January. However, and Bartomeu is pleased with the results Barca have accumulated within his short tenure.
