According to L’Equipe reports say that Athletico Would be open to a swap deal with Lacazette.
The French striker has fallen down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta recently. With the coach preferring Eddie Nketiah to lead the line since returning from his loan spell with Leeds United.

The Arsenal gaffer hinted at fresh contract talks with but the 29-year-old is considered a prime candidate. To raise funds for other targets should Arsenal need to sell before they buy.
Athletico Madrid could face competition for his signature, though with Juventus & AC Milan also thought to be keeping close tabs on the striker. Lacazette has scored 12 goals in 34 appearances across all competitions this season.
However, Arsenal has reportedly reopened talks with Etienne over the possibility of allowing William Saliba. To stay with the French club until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old spent the 2019/20 campaign on loan at Saint Etienne. Helping the club to reach the Coupe de France final before his short spell expired on June 30.
Both Arsenal & Saint Etienne were keen to extend the deal in order to allow Saliba to play in the final on July 24 but they were unable to agree to terms leading to a public rift between both clubs.
However, L’Equipe reports that the Gunners have since performed a U-turn & have held further meetings with representatives of the French outfit which have gone well.
Arsenal Boss is also confident of keeping Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos at the club for the 2019/20 premier league season.
Ceballos joined the Gunners on a season-long loan deal at the start of the current campaign.
Former manager Unai Emery used the Spanish international sparingly & he looked likely to return to Madrid this summer.
However, the arrival of Arteta in December 2019 saw him reinstated in the side & the former Manchester City coach wants to secure a permanent transfer in the coming weeks.
